Ingredients For pattycake's shrimp gravy for shrimp and grits

1 1/2 csmall, peeled and deveined raw shrimp

3 Tbspchopped onion

3 Tbspchopped bell pepper

4 Tbspbacon grease
-
salt and pepper to taste

1 tspseafood seasoning

1 tspworcestershite sauce

2 Tbspketchup

2 Tbspcornstarch
How To Make pattycake's shrimp gravy for shrimp and grits

1In skillet, fry onions and peppers in bacon grease. When onion is golden, add shirmp and stir around several times.

2Add about 3/4 cup of water. Simmer 2-3 minutes and thicken with the cornstarch and a little water made into a paste.

3Add seasonings, Worcestershite sauce and ketchup. Cook slowly til thickened. Serve over creamy grits.
