My cousins husband had this at a restaurant in Stuart Florida, loved it so I tried it. Very good,and easy to make. I substituted provolone. You can use whatever cheese you like.

Ingredients For open faced bacon, cheddar and tomato sandwiches

  • turkey bacon, or regular bacon
  • mayonnaise,tomatoes, fresh cracked pepper, bread

How To Make open faced bacon, cheddar and tomato sandwiches

  • 1
    Spread small amount of mayo on one slice of bread. Top with bacon,tomato,( i add fresh pepper on top of tomato),add 2 slices of cheese. Place in toaster oven on bake till cheese starts to melt, then I switch it to broil till the cheese gets bubbly and slightly brown. I top that with more cracked pepper. Enjoy.
