Ingredients For mimi's sausage potatoes and onions

1 pkgsmoked garlic sausage, sliced thin

1 lgonion, sliced thin

4-5potatoes, sliced thin with skins on

1 Tbspgarlic powder

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make mimi's sausage potatoes and onions

1Lightly brown the sausage pieces to release the oils.

2Saute the onions in with the sausage oils and the sausage browning slightly.

3Layer in the potato slices across the top and sprinkle with the garlic powder and some pepper.

4Cover the skillet with a lid, stirring slightly a couple of times, for about 15 minutes.

5Once the potatoes begin to soften, gently break up the potato pieces and mash a little bit.

6Salt to taste carefully. Most package processed sausages are pretty salty, so careful!
