Ingredients For louisiana shrimp etouffee

4 lbshrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cchopped onion
-
1/2 cchopped bell pepper
-
1/4 cchopped celery
-
1 stickmargarine or butter
-
8 ozcan tomato soup
-
louisiana red hot, salt and pepper to taste

cooked long grain rice
How To Make louisiana shrimp etouffee

1Saute shrimp, the "Louisiana trinity" (onion, bell pepper and celery) in margarine.

2Add tomato soup and simmer about 30 to 40 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and Louisiana red hot sauce.

3Serve over rice with Louisiana red hot sauce on the side in case additional is desired.
