Because dogs can't eat onions, there are none in these - they're my dog Little Frankie's favorite treats to share with his family, :) Can also be cooked in a skillet drizzled w/oil...spice them up w/hot pepper flakes, jerk seasoning, Meditteranean salt mix - just try them first w/the walnut oil, it does make a diff.

2 clentils, cooked

1/4 tsptarragon, fresh minced

2 Tbspwalnut oil

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1 cbread crumbs, whole wheat

2garlic cloves, roasted and pureed

1 cbulgur wheat, uncooked

1 cportabello mushrooms, minced

pinchpepper
How To Make little frankie's veggie burgers

1Prepare a wood or charcoal grill and let it burn down to embers.

2In a large mixing bowl, mash lentils until smooth.

3Add all other ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined; refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

4Form into burgers; brush the burgers with olive oil and grill for 6 minutes on each side or until done.

5Serve hot with your favorite condiments.
