Ingredients For li'l bit's chili bread bowl

  • 4-6
    sourdough buns
  • 16 oz
    can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 16 oz
    can kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 14 oz
    can diced tomatos
  • 4 oz
    can diced green chilis
  • 2 tsp
    lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 tsp
    cumin
  • 1/4 c
    cheddar chese

How To Make li'l bit's chili bread bowl

  • 1
    Cut off top third of each bun. Pull out chunks of bread to form the bowl. Leave 1/2inch thick shell
  • 2
    Mix beans, tomatoes, chilies, lime juice, chili powder, and cumin in a large microwave safe bowl.

    Cover bowl and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Using oven mitts, remove and stir. Continue cooking until chili mixture is very hot. Let stand 1-2 minutes

    Spoon chili into bread bowls Garnish with cheese
