I Have never been really crazy over Lamb But A friend fixed this and it was divine.I have no idea where she got the recipe but it is well worth the effort.

Ingredients For leg of lamb

  • 4 lb
    leg of lamb
  • 5 clove
    garlic,minced
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    thyme, ground
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder

How To Make leg of lamb

  • 1
    Cut five slits in the meat; insert garlic. Combine salt, pepper, thyme, and garlic powder; rub over meat. Place on a rack in a roasting pan. Broil 5--6 inches from the heat until browned; turn and brown the other side. Turn the oven to 350 degrees. Add 1/2 cup of water to pan. Cover and bake for 25 minutes per pound or until internal temperature reaches 160 for medium or 170 for well done. Save drippings for gravey if desired.
