This is a version of jambalaya that my sister Mariann gave to me. Very easy to make and tastes great.

Ingredients For kielbasa,red beans and rice

3 slicebacon

1onion,chopped or sliced
-
1/2green pepper,chopped or sliced
-
2cloves of garlic, minced

215 ounce cans kedney beans or black beans ;drained

1bay leaf
-
2 Tbspketchup
-
1 1/2 tspworcestershire sauce

1 tspseasoned salt
-
1 lbkielbasa
-
1 Tbspvinegar
-
1 tspsugar

2 ccooked rice, can use more
How To Make kielbasa,red beans and rice

1In skillet brown bacon and add onion,green pepper, and garlic and saute till soft.

2Add remaining ingredients except vinegar,sugar and rice, to bacon mixture in pan.

3Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.

4Stir in vinegar and sugar for last 10 minutes.

5Can add cooked rice (boil 2 cups of water with 1 cup of rice till tender.)to ingredients in pan or spoon kielbasa mixture over rice on plate.
