These beans are a family favorite .They can be a meal all by their self , but are wonderful served with pork loin , steak or BBQ.

Ingredients For kats baked-stewed beans

1/2 lbgrilled hamburger patties

1 lbgrilled hillshire farm sausage

3/4 lbcooked chopped pork bbq

2 lgsauteed onions (in olive oil)chopped

1 lgsauteed bell pepper (in olive oil)chopped

1 lgrotel tomatoes ( undrained )

1 cdark brown sugar
-
1 ccattlemans bbq sauce (or more to taste)

2 can26 oz. bushs honey beans
-
1 1/2 ccooked frozen baby lima beans
-
12 ozcooked bacon (crumbled )

1/2 csorgum syrup

1 1/2 tsptony chachere's

1 tspcourse black pepper
-
1 1/2 tspminced garlic
-
1 tspwilliams rib tickler seasoning

1/2 cketchup
-
1 smjalepeno (chopped and seeded) optional
How To Make kats baked-stewed beans

1Saute onions and peppers till tender , add rotel tomatoes with juice , stir in beans and seasonings ,let simmer for 5-10 minutes on med. heat.

2Add grilled hamburger , grilled sausage and chopped bbq pork .Stir in BBQ sauce , syrup , ketchup and brown sugar.

3Simmer on low 15 -30 minutes , stirring often.Remove from stove top.

4Crumble cooked bacon on top.
