These beans are a family favorite .They can be a meal all by their self , but are wonderful served with pork loin , steak or BBQ.

Ingredients For kats baked-stewed beans

  • 1/2 lb
    grilled hamburger patties
  • 1 lb
    grilled hillshire farm sausage
  • 3/4 lb
    cooked chopped pork bbq
  • 2 lg
    sauteed onions (in olive oil)chopped
  • 1 lg
    sauteed bell pepper (in olive oil)chopped
  • 1 lg
    rotel tomatoes ( undrained )
  • 1 c
    dark brown sugar
  • 1 c
    cattlemans bbq sauce (or more to taste)
  • 2 can
    26 oz. bushs honey beans
  • 1 1/2 c
    cooked frozen baby lima beans
  • 12 oz
    cooked bacon (crumbled )
  • 1/2 c
    sorgum syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    tony chachere's
  • 1 tsp
    course black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 tsp
    williams rib tickler seasoning
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 1 sm
    jalepeno (chopped and seeded) optional

How To Make kats baked-stewed beans

  • 1
    Saute onions and peppers till tender , add rotel tomatoes with juice , stir in beans and seasonings ,let simmer for 5-10 minutes on med. heat.

    Add grilled hamburger , grilled sausage and chopped bbq pork .Stir in BBQ sauce , syrup , ketchup and brown sugar.

    Simmer on low 15 -30 minutes , stirring often.Remove from stove top.

    Crumble cooked bacon on top.
