My husband thinks I was a crab in a previously life. I love eating crabs and always experimenting with new recipes. When I eat crab cakes I want to taste the crab, not filler. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

Ingredients For the ultimate jumbo lump crab cake

1 lbjumbo lump crab

1egg

2slices of bread

1 1/2 Tbspparsley flakes

1 Tbspmustard

2 Tbspmayonnaise

1 tspworcestershire sauce

salt and pepper

How To Make the ultimate jumbo lump crab cake

1Remove the crust from the bread. (I use potato bread) Beat egg. Add parsely flakes, mustard, mayo, worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper to taste. Pull bread apart in tiny pieces. Mix bread into wet mixture. Set aside.

2Squeeze water out of crab meat. Add a little cooking oil to frying pan Heat oil. Fold crab into wet mixture. Be gentle not to break the lump crab. Make into patties and add to heated oil.

3Fry on med heat until lightly brown, about 4-5 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels. Then you're ready for the best crab cake ever.
