This recipe is easy to make. They call it impossible pie because it makes its own crust. Was really doubtful when I fixed it the first time. Have run across many more recipes that are like this and I just love it.

Ingredients For impossible ham n swiss pie

  • 2 c
    cut up fully cooked smoked ham
  • 1 c
    shredded natural swiss cheese (4oz.)
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green onion or chopped onion
  • 4
    eggs
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    baking mix ( i use bisquick)
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    fresh ground pepper

How To Make impossible ham n swiss pie

  • 1
    Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 10" pie plate. Sprinkle ham, cheese, and onion in the plate. Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds on high or 1 minute with mixer. Pour into plate over other ingredients. Bake until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. 35 to 40 minutes. Cool 5 minutes and serve.
