Had a friend when I lived in Southern Illinois that liked to make this casserole for the motorcycle club's picnic's. Very tasty.

Ingredients For hot dog picnic casserole

1 lbhot dogs cut in bite size pieces

2 lbpork n beans (well drained)

3slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

2Tbacon drippings
-
1nedium yellow onion, chopped

1medim green pepper, chopped
-
3/4cup catsup
-
2 1/2 Tbrown sugar
-
2 Tworcestershire sauce
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make hot dog picnic casserole

1Grease 1 1/2 quart casserole.

2Add hotdogs, beans and bacon. Mix and set aside.

3Combine bacon drippings, onions and pepper in a heavy skillet and cook over medium heat five minutes or till lightly browned.

4Add remaining ingredients. Mix until well blended.

5Pour over hot dog mixture and mix well.

6Cover and bake for 1 hour in 350 oven.
