I created a first-ever catfish recipe. It's oven-fried and filled with honey mustard. It's great on po-boy sandwiches.

2 cbuttermilk

3/4 choney mustard

2/3 cyellow cornmeal

1 cPanko bread crumbs

1 Tbspgarlic pepper

2 tspsea salt

3 1/2 tspOld Bay seasoning

1 tspground cumin
-
3/4 cshredded Parmesan cheese

1 lbcatfish fillets, cut into smaller pieces
How To Make honey mustard oven-fried catfish

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and mist with nonstick cooking spray.

3In a large bowl, combine buttermilk and honey mustard; whisk together until blended.

4In a deep pie plate, combine yellow cornmeal, bread crumbs, garlic pepper, sea salt, Old Bay seasoning, ground cumin, and Parmesan cheese; mix well with a fork until combined.

5Dredge each fillet in honey mustard mixture; dip on both sides. Transfer a fillet into crumb mixture to coat.

6Place a fillet on the coated baking sheet. Repeat with each fillet.

7Bake for 25 minutes or until the fillets are golden brown.
