honey/bourbon glazed ham steaks with spinach
Made this for family..said they liked it...hopefully you will too. Originally used frozen spinach but liked the fresh better

Ingredients For honey/bourbon glazed ham steaks with spinach

1/4 cjack daniel's

1 pkgspinach, fresh.

apple cider vinegar

1 cbrown sugar
How To Make honey/bourbon glazed ham steaks with spinach

1Cut each ham steak in half place in glass casserole dish

2Combine honey,brown sugar in small sauce pan bringing to a quick boil. Remove from heat

3Add bourbon to mixture stirring until combined

4Use just enough of the mixture to coat both sides of steaks .Set aside to use rest later. Cover and set aside for 15 to 20 minutes

5Prepare spinach sprinkle(toss) with a little of the apple cider vinegar and set aside

6Spray light. Coating of cooking spray on grilling skillet and preheat to med-high

7When skillet is heated place ham steaks in skillet..try not to get to much of bourbon mixture in skillet with steaks as you just want to get grill marks to show on the steaks marking steaks on both sides

8Remove steaks place on top of fresh spinach,lightly brush with rest of glaze

9Serve with homemade cornbread and deviled eggs
