Ingredients For hodge podge

1 cfresh beans

1 cfresh carrots, chunked

2 cnew potatoes

1/2 csalted butter
-
1/2 ccereal cream
-
1 Tbspflour
-
1/2 cwater or chicken broth
How To Make hodge podge

1Cover beans and carrots with salted water in a pot, bring to a boil for 30 minutes. Add potatoes, and cook for another 30 minutes.

2Stir in butter and cream.

3Whisk flour and 1/2 cup water or chicken stock. Pour over vegetables.

4Cook for 5 minutes to thicken sauce.

5Remove from stovetop and serve hot.

6Variations: Chunk turnip can be added when beans and carrots are added. Fresh peas can be added when potatoes are added.
