This has become a weekly/bi-weekly staple in our Keto household. Much like crustless pizza where we don't actually miss the crust, this is something that helps us not miss the pasta in spaghetti.

Ingredients For ground beef, cabbage, and marinara

  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • onion powder, to taste
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • 1 lb
    ground beef (or meat of your choice)
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 1 md
    cabbage, chopped
  • 1 jar
    Rao's sugar-free marinara (or sugar-free sauce of choice)
  • optional
    crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 - 1/3 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese

How To Make ground beef, cabbage, and marinara

    Season and brown ground beef and onion until almost done.

    Add chopped cabbage and stir frequently until almost soft.
  • 3
    Pour in marinara sauce and add red pepper flakes if using.

    Stir to combine and let cook down until heated through. I generally let mine simmer after it's good and mixed for about 30 min to allow any juice to evaporate.

    Top with cheese if using, put a lid on and let melt.
    Serve and enjoy.
