ground beef and broccoli
I like to order Broccoli Beef at Asian restaurants and came up with this to use up some ground sirloin and broccoli. Little different texture than the restaurant kind, but the taste is similar. Serve with brown or white rice.

Ingredients For ground beef and broccoli

1/3 csoy sauce or tamari

2 Tbspbrown sugar

4 clovegarlic, minced

1 Tbspginger paste, or 1 inch grated

1/2 Tbsplemon grass paste

1 Tbsprice wine vinegar

1/2 Tbspsesame oil
-
1/4 tspsriracha (or more, to taste)

1/2 ccold water

1 Tbspcornstarch

cooking spray

1 lblean ground beef or ground sirloin

12 ozbroccoli florets
-
4green onions, sliced
-
1 tspsesame seeds, for garnish
How To Make ground beef and broccoli

1Mix together first 10 ingredients, stir to dissolve cornstarch. Set aside.

2Spray wok or large skillet. Brown ground beef, breaking apart until no pink is visible, about 5 minutes. Add broccoli florets, stir fry for about 3-4 minutes.

3Add liquid to beef mixture, stir until boiling, turn down heat and stir until sauce thickens. Turn off heat, sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds to serve. Serve with extra Sriracha sauce for those who like the heat!
