Another recipe clipped from a some magazine that I can't remember:{ Teeked the recipe a bit to my directions. This was a big hit at a recent baby shower. You can make them whole, cut the bread with a cookie cutter or slice into tea sandwiches. They truly are sensational. Enjoy!

Ingredients For grilled cheese and apple sandwiches

  • 8 tsp
    honey mustard
  • 8
    hearty whole grain bread slices
  • 8
    sharp ceddar cheese slices
  • 1 lg
    granny smith apple, thinly sliced
  • vegetable cooking spray

How To Make grilled cheese and apple sandwiches

    Spread about 1 tsp. honey mustard on 1 side of each bread slice.

    Place 1 cheddar cheese slice of each of 4 bread slices.

    Place thinly sliced granny apple slices on top of cheese slices.

    Top with remaining cheddar cheese and bread, mustard side down.

    Coat both sides of sanwiches with cooking spray.

    Cook sanwiches in a preheated panini press 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. If you don't have a panini press, cook sanwichs in a skillet 4 minutes on each side with a heavy pan on top of them.
