goat tikka masala
I wanted to try goat meat but I think I would like to try it in another preparation. The delicious spices of the Tikka were really all I could taste. The Goat meat was very tender.

Ingredients For goat tikka masala

1 Tbspgaram masala

1/2 tspcumin

1/2 tspturmeric

1/2 tspsmoked paprika

1/2 tspblack pepper

1/4 tspcayenne pepper

1 tspsalt

2 lbgoat meat from a leg or roast, cut into cubes

2 Tbspbutter

1 mdonion, chopped

4 clovegarlic, minced

1 Tbspgrated ginger

1/2 cbrown sugar
-
1 cantomato sauce (15 oz)

1/2 ccoconut cream
-
rice, for serving

cilantro, for garnish

naan, for serving
How To Make goat tikka masala

1Mix the spices together and rub all over the meat. Add butter to a pan and sear the meat on all sides. Place the meat in the slow cooker.

2Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook until onion is translucent. Add 1/4 cup of water to the pan then pour all into the slow cooker. Add the ginger, brown sugar, and tomato sauce. Stir to combine well and let cook 8 hours.

3Stir in the coconut cream. Serve over rice and garnish with cilantro. Serve with naan for dipping.
