Ingredients For georgina's mom's green chile casserole

1 pkgcorn tortillas (more if you want more)

1 lgcan cream of chicken soup

2 lbcheddar cheese, shredded

1 1/2 lbchicken, cooked and shredded

4 cangreen chile (i used whole and cut into slices)...use fresh if you can

1 mdonion, diced
-
1 Tbsptony chachere's seasoning or cholula or tabasco or both
How To Make georgina's mom's green chile casserole

1Get the ingredients together.

2Oil the bottom and sides of a 9x11 glass dish. Place a layer of yellow corn tortillas on the bottom of the dish.

3Mix the seasonings with the cream of chicken soup

4Top the tortillas with some of the seasoned cream of chicken soup.

5Top with some of the shredded chicken.

6Top with a little diced onion, chile, then cheese and another layer of corn tortillas. Repeat these layers ending with cheese.

7Cover and bake at 375F for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
