This was very simple to make and my family loved it. Even my picky grandson had seconds.

Ingredients For fried cabbage with sausage

  • 1 stick
    butter or margarine
  • 1 sm
    head of cabbage chopped
  • 1 sm
    onion chopped
  • 1 lb
    smoked sausage sliced into round pieces
  • 1 can
    15 oz of diced tomatoes or rotel
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper

How To Make fried cabbage with sausage

  • 1
    Melt butter in a large skillet. Add cabbage, onion and cook on medium high for about 5 minutes, stirring to keep from sticking to pan. Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
