Ingredients For flame's savory meatloaf

  • 1 lg
    onion chopped fine
  • 1 lg
    green pepper chopped fine
  • 1 lg
    package finely chopped mushrooms(optional)
  • 4 lg
    eggs beaten
  • 1 lb
    ground turkey sausage
  • 1 lb
    ground turkey
  • 3 lb
    lean ground beef(80/20) or better
  • YOU NEED BOTH OF THESE BUT LEAVE THEM SEPERATE
  • 1-2 pkg
    turkey stuffing(place in large plastic bag, and crush with rollin pin) to not crumble too small
  • 1 1/2 c
    itialan bread crumbs
  • MIX IN THE MEAT MIXTURE
  • 1/8 c
    ketchup
  • 1/8 c
    mustard, spicy brown
  • DO NOT ADD THIS TO YOUR MEAT LOAF IT IS FOR YOU TO MIX TOGETHER AND BAIST YOUR LOAF WITH
  • 1/8 c
    a-1 sauce,
  • 2 Tbsp
    wisterchire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    bq sauce of your choice

How To Make flame's savory meatloaf

    In a very large bowl, mix your meats first, then add your cheese and all the rest of your ingredients, seems too dry add a little water. To moist add a little more bread crumbs. add your stuffing to the mixture last and mix well.

    You want to add 1/8 cup ketchup and the same amount of spicy brown mustard. To the mix. mixing well after each addition. This will make two good size meatloaves. I usually take half the mixture for meat loaf and half for my meat balls.

    In a large baking pan place your meat mixture and form into two large loafs or one if you took half for the meat balls. baste the loaf with the above sauce. (Do not use in the meat if your are using for meatballs) Bake for 1 hr and 20 mins till loaf is cooked all the way through. Serve with gravy and mash potatoes.
