Ingredients For economical country casserole

3 mdpotatoes

salt and pepper to taste

1stalk of celery
-
3 mdonions
-
1 1/2 lbground round steak
-
1 lbcan solid packed tomatoes

1 mdgreen bell pepper
How To Make economical country casserole

1FIRST: Butter a casserole dish. Slice potatoes and layer into casserole dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Next sprinkle the chopped celery and a 1/3 of the green pepper, finely sliced and 1 medium onion thinly sliced. add salt and pepper to taste.

2SECOND: Cover with a layer of ground round steak. Season meat, repeat layers till casserole is almost filled. (3 layers in all)

3THIRD: Pour the contents of the tomatoes over top layer of ground round steak and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.
