This is a very easy way to enjoy corned beef and cabbage. When I make this, my husband enjoys it and he usually doesn't eat cabbage.

Ingredients For easy corned beef and cabbage

4 slicebacon

4 Tbspbutter

1head of cabbage, coarsely chopped

water

salt and pepper to taste

1 cancorned beef
How To Make easy corned beef and cabbage

1Cook the bacon in a large pot over medium heat until almost crisp. Remove bacon and set aside. Melt butter in the pot with the bacon grease. Add the cabbage, stirring well to coat the cabbage. Add small amount of water, salt and pepper to taste.

2Cover pot with lid and cook over medium heat for about 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, chop bacon into pieces.

3Remove the lid from the pot, scatter chunks of corned beef and chopped bacon over top of the cabbage. Cover and cook until desired doneness. Note: cabbage has water in its leaves, only add a small amount of water at a time. You can always add more water if needed.
