Ingredients For duck dressing

  • 4
    ducks
  • 1 stick
    margarine, melted
  • 1 lg
    package seasoned bread stuffing
  • 1 1/2 c
    duck broth
  • 1/2 c
    celery, diced
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, grated

How To Make duck dressing

  • 1
    Place ducks in saucepan. Cover with water. Boil until tender in covered saucepan. Save broth.

    Remove meat from the bones and chop.
  • 3
    Mix well with all ingredients except soup and cheese.

    Put in large buttered casserole dish and let stand overnight in the refrigerator.

    Pour mushroom soup over casserole and bake for 1-1/2 hours at 400 degrees. Sprinkle grated cheese over top of casserole the last few minutes of cooking.
