My husband and I are in our 70’s and travel in our 5th wheel camper. We like simple recipes and especially crockpot dishes. But, one night, my husband got out a large can of Chili with beans. Lo and behold, there was a very simple idea for a meal. We just modified it a bit. The can called for tortillas; however, all we had was Dorito chips.

Ingredients For dinner in a snap, mexican style

  • Large can
    chili with beans, heated
  • bag
    doritos, crushed slightly
  • As desired bag
    mexican blend shredded cheese

How To Make dinner in a snap, mexican style

    While heating up the Chili, crush up the Dorito chips and place on each person’s plate or bowl. (I use a large bowl and a spoon to insure I don’t waste anything.)

    Once heated, spoon the Chili over the Doritos. We had some leftover chopped onions and tomatoes so we threw that on, as well.

    Add the desired amount of shredded cheese (and anything else you want). This was the easiest dinner ever, thanks to the recipe on the Chili can.
