I got this recipe from the All Recipes site. I served it at a snak supper at our church and got lots of requests for the recipe. The dressing makes the sandwich.

Ingredients For cuban midnight sandwich

1 cmayonnaise

5 Tbspitalian dressing

4hoagie rolls, split lengthwise

4 Tbspprepared mustard

1/2 lbthinly sliced deli turkey meat

1/2 lbthinly sliced deli ham
-
1/2 lbthinly sliced swiss cheese

1 cdill pickle slices
-
1/2 colive oil
How To Make cuban midnight sandwich

1In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and Italian dressing. Spread mixture on hoagie rolls. On each roll arrange layers of turkey, ham and cheese. Top each with dill pickle slices. Close the sandwich and brush tops and bottom with olive oil.

2Heat a non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes pressing down with a plate covered in aluminum foil. Flip and cook for 2 more minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from heat, place on plates and cut in half diagonally.
