crockpot octoberfest bratwurst
Great with a nice cold beer , can be eaten any time of the year , I made this in October but forgot to post it on this site ! Lol !!

Slow Cooker Crock Pot
Ingredients For crockpot octoberfest bratwurst

2 packs (19 ounce) bratwurst with beer (or your favorite flavor of bratwurst)

butter or margarine
-
2 cans (14.4 ounce) shredded sauerkraut, drained

2 onions, sliced
-
6 cloves garlic, minced
-
1/8 teaspoon caraway seeds
-
1 bottle beer
-
hoagie rolls or your favorite rolls
How To Make crockpot octoberfest bratwurst

1In a large skillet melt some butter OR margarine.....I’m using half of a stick......

2Place your bratwurst into skillet that has the melted butter OR margarine and cook bratwurst until browned......

3Place browned bratwurst into crockpot....

4Now place into crockpot your drained sauerkraut, sliced onions, minced garlic, caraway seeds and beer......

5Cover and cook on Low heat for 5 hours, stirring lightly during cooking......

6Serve on top of your favorite bread and enjoy
