1 tspgarlic salt

1/2 tsppepper

1/2 tsppoultry seasoning

1/2 tspthyme

2 cbaby carrots

2 conion cubes

2 ccubed sweet potatoes

3/4 stickbutter
-
1 tspchopped fresh rosemary
-
1/2 tspchili pepper spice blend

1/2 tspcilantro herb blend

1/2 tspfreshly chopped basil
How To Make company cornish game hens

1Turn oven to 360 degrees. Spray 13"x9" (preferably glass) baking dish with PAM. Split Game hens into halves. Set aside. Peel sweet potatoes and onions, cube and set aside. Mix together garlic salt, pepper, poultry seasoning and thyme.

2Put carrots, cubed sweet potatoes and cubed onions into dish and season with salt and pepper to your taste. On carving board, liberally sprinkle salt and herb mixture over both sides of the halved hens. Place hens (breast side up) on top of vegetables in cooking dish.

3Melt butter and add rosemary, chili pepper spice blend, cilantro herb blend and basil. Brush over top of hens.

4Bake for 20 minutes, then brush with butter mixture. Continue baking remaining time brushing butter mixture over hens every 15 minutes. Bake 60-70 minutes or until hens are golden brown.

5Remove from oven and let hens rest for five minutes before serving with vegetables.
