Ingredients For classic spanakopita

16 ozfrozen spinach thawed and squeezed to drain well

2 bunchflat leaf parsley chopped

1 lgyellow onion chopped

4 clovegarlic minced

2 Tbspolive oil

4 lgeggs

10 1/2 ozfeta cheese

1 Tbspdried dill weed
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspblack pepper

16 ozpackage fillo dough thawed

1 1/2 colive oil
How To Make classic spanakopita

1Mix the first 10 ingredients together in a bowl and set aside. Preheat oven 350 degrees Prepare a 9x 15 pan by brushing with olive oil Line the baking dish with 2 sheets of fillo paper pressing them up the sides. Brush with Olive oil. Add two more sheets and brush with olive oil. Continue to add two sheets at a time and brushing with olive oil until 2/3 of the dough is used up.

2Place the filling in the pan and bring the sides of the dough over the edges. Add two more sheets of dough to the top and brush with olive oil. Finally add the last two sheets of Fillo dough and brush with olive oil

3Bake for 1 hour. Enjoy.
