1 tablespoon soy sauce is a little so season to taste with it. There is no salt added to this recipe it all comes from the sauce sauce. I usually just add at the end and keep tasting it until it's how I like it.

Ingredients For chinese fried quinoa

  • 2-3 c
    cooked quinoa
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2
    carrots peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 c
    frozen peas
  • 2 can
    sliced water chestnuts
  • 3
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 c
    cooked shredded chicken

How To Make chinese fried quinoa

  • Step 1

    Heat canola oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook until onion is translucent.

    Add carrots and peas. Cook for 2 minutes or until tender. Move to side of pan.

    Add egg. Fry, cutting into small pieces. Mix all together.

    Add quinoa and cooked chicken. Stir.
