I have used this as appertizer for small dinner party, and also as side dish for Mexican dinner. It is quite simple to put together, and short baking time. I have not been able to come up with a way to change much of anything about recipe. Perhaps you can....I served cottage cheese and tomato salad, along with spicy squash balls, deep fried. Everything balanced out well. I have also served cucumber & onion & crumbled bacon as side with this spicy quiche.

Ingredients For chili cheese quiche

  • 1
    unbaked flaky pie crust
  • 1
    egg yolk
  • 4
    eggs
  • one
    4 oz can green chilies, chopped and drained
  • 1 cup
    (4oz) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup
    (4 oz) shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 1/4 tsp
    or to taste, red pepper sauce
  • 1/2 cup
    cheese crackers, crushed

How To Make chili cheese quiche

    Combine all ingredients except pie crust and crackers. Mix well. Pour into crust.

    Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle crackers on pie and bake for 15 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
