I started with Keto ingredients for a beanies chili. I added the can of kidney beans to serve at our "At the State Fair" meeting to make it more chili-like for all the non-keto folks.

Ingredients For chili at the fair!

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    sausage
  • 1/2
    onion
  • 3 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    cumin
  • 1 Tbsp
    smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 c
    bone broth
  • 15 oz
    can of fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 can
    rotel tomatoes & chilis
  • 1 can
    kidney beans, canned

How To Make chili at the fair!

    Dice the onion and sauté it in a pan with 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2
    Add the ground beef and sausage until brown
  • 3
    Add Onion and meat to slow cooker. Add all other ingredients and stir.

    Turn on Slow Cooker on low and cook for at least 4 hours.

    Serve warm with slice scallions or shredded cheese or sour cream.
