These are very good, especially if short on time, or you do not feel like cooking a meal with all the trimmings. These are sooooo... good with salad, or your favorite chips, or french fries that can be nuked "micro-waved."

Ingredients For chile rellenos sandwiches

    4 oz can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 6
    slices bread, your choice of bread
  • 3
    slices monterey jack cheese
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 cup
    milk
  • butter and salsa

How To Make chile rellenos sandwiches

  • 1
    Mash chilies with fork, spread on three slices of bread.
  • 2
    Top with cheese and slice of bread. In shallow bowl, beat egg and milk.

    Dip the sandwiches, fry in butter or oil in large skillet till golden brown and cheese is melted. Serve with salsa.
