Ingredients For cajun deer camp special casserole

  • 1 c
    cooked rice
  • 1 lb
    ground venison
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/2 lg
    onion, chopped fine
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 sm
    jar jalapeno cheese whiz
  • 1 c
    durkee's french fried onion rings

How To Make cajun deer camp special casserole

  • 1
    Cook rice. While rice is cooking, brown meat, salt and pepper to taste. Drain excess grease off and add chopped raw onions.

    Cook until onion is tender. Add cheese whiz, soup, and cooked rice to the meat mixture.

    Bake in baking dish or prepared casserole dish for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Add dried onions after 10 minutes and cook 10 minutes more until golden brown.
