I've been making this casserole for many years and it's always a welcome meal. It's easy and tasty.

Ingredients For brocolli and rice casserole

2 cinstant rice (i prefer uncle ben's. regular rice wont work for this recipe)

2 cwater

1 pkgfrozen brocolli crown cuts

3/4 lbfresh sliced button mushrooms
-
2 cancream of mushroom soup, undiluted
-
1/2 stickbutter or margerine
-
12 ozjar of cheeze whiz
-
salt to taste
-
2 Tbspbutter or margerine
How To Make brocolli and rice casserole

1Place instant rice and water in 3 quart casserole dish. Salt to taste. Dot with butter or margerine.

2Top with one can of the mushroom soup.

3Layer the broccoli and sliced mushrooms evenly over previous ingredients.

4Add the 2nd can of mushroom soup over the broccoli and mushrooms

5Top with the Cheese Whiz, spread evenly.

6Cover and bake in preheated 375F degree oven for about 45 minutes. Remove cover and bake for about 15 more minutes or until cheese starts to brown.

7Serve and enjoy.
