Broccoli Salad is one of my favorite go-to summer recipes with fresh broccoli, crisp smoked bacon, sweet red onion, and crunchy sliced almonds all in a slightly sweet mayo base. It is always one of the first side dishes to disappear at potlucks, family reunions, and neighborhood BBQs. This dish comes together in about fifteen minutes if you precook the bacon or purchase it cooked. It is a great side dish for grilled chicken, pork tenderloin, or steak

Ingredients For broccoli salad

1 cmayonnaise

1 1/2 Tbspsugar

3 Tbspapple cider vinegar

1/4 tspfresh ground black pepper

1 1/3 lbbroccoli florets finely chopped into bite-size pieces

8 slicecrispy cooked bacon chopped

1/3 cchopped red onion

1/2 csweetened dried cranberries

1/3 csliced almonds
How To Make broccoli salad

1Whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, cider vinegar, and pepper in a small bowl.

2In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, bacon, onions, cranberries, and almonds. Drizzle the dressing over the top and toss to coat. Cover and chill for 1-2 hours before serving. Toss again right before serving.
