broccoli hashbrown casserole

You can add chicken to this recipe, but it is absolutely FANTASTIC without the chicken. It totally wasn't missed. This recipe is one I will definitely make again!

Ingredients For broccoli hashbrown casserole

  • 1 lg
    bag hashbrowns, thawed
  • 3 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 sm
    bag shredded cheddar
  • 1 lg
    vidalia onion, chopped
  • 2 bag
    frozen broccoli florets, thawed and drained well
  • 1- 1 1/2 stick
    butter, melted
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make broccoli hashbrown casserole

    Mix all together and put into a 12" DO with liner inside. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 min.

    NOTE: original recipe had chicken, which made this VERY soggy. So I opted to omit it. Also, I used: 5 c frozen hashbrowns, thawed 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 c shredded cheddar 1/4 c chopped onion 1 c broccoli florets 1/2 stick butter melted salt and pepper to taste. This originally served 4 with the chicken.
