These burgers are so yummy and packed with lots of fiber! I add extra chopped garlic but it can be adjusted to taste.

Ingredients For black bean oatmeal burgers

1 can15 oz black beans, drained

1 can14.5 oz diced tomatoes, drained

4-6 clovegarlic, minced
-
1 tspground cumin
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspcoursely ground pepper
-
1 smonion, chopped or 2 green onions, chopped

2/3 cchopped carrots
-
1 3/4 crolled oats
How To Make black bean oatmeal burgers

1Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and brush lightly with oil.

2Process the first 8 ingredients until blended. Transfer to a bowl and mix in the oats.

3Form into 8 patties and place on baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 min until firm to the touch. Carefully turn patties over with a wide spatula and place under the broiler for 1-2 min until browned.
