NOTE: I HAVE ALSO LISTED THE QUANTITIES FOR MAKING A MUCH SMALLER BATCH, SINCE IF YOU ARE LIKE ME, THIS WON'T BE A HEAVILY USED ITEM IN YOUR KITCHEN. This is a spice mix traditionally used in Ethopian cooking. It is a very versatile mixture of spices, however, that can be used in other cuisines. How To Make berbere spice mix homemade (sallye))

1Place all items in large mixing bowl and whisk briskly until well blended. This spice mix will keep indefinitely in an airtight container if kept in fridge.

2NOTE: HERE ARE THE MEASUREMENTS FOR A SMALLER BATCH: 2 tablespoons sweet paprika 1 tablespoon sea salt 1 tablespoon ground black pepper 1 tablespoon ground cardamom 1 tablespoon ground coriander 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper 2 teaspoons fenugreek 1 tablespon ground cloves 1 tablespoon ginger pinch of allspice pinch of nutmeg
