Ingredients For balinese lamb chops

    peanut oil
  • 12
    lamb loin chops trimmed
  • 2 sm
    brown onions sliced thinly
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter, crunchy
  • 1/4 c
    sweet chile sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2/3 c
    coconut milk, unsweetened
  • 3/4 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh coriander (cilantro)
  • cooked rice

How To Make balinese lamb chops

  • 1
    Heat oil in large frying pan; cook lamb until browned and cooked as desired.

    Remove lamb from pan; drain excess fat from pan. Add onion to pan; cook stirring until browned.

    Add peanut butter, chile sauce, lemon juice, and combined coconut milk and water, cook, stirring, until sauce thickens slightly. Return lamb to pan, coat with sauce. Serve sprinkled with coriander.
