Ingredients For baked stuffed shrimp

  • 1 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp
    parsley flakes
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated romano cheese
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • white wine or sherry to moisten
  • ---jumbo shrimp (8 to 10 shrimp to the pound), figure 3-4 shrimp per serving

How To Make baked stuffed shrimp

    Rinse shrimp. Remove shell, leaving on tail. Cut shrimp partway through on rounded side and remove any vein.

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

    Mix breadcrumbs, cheese, seasonings, wine or sherry and butter to form stuffing. Lay shrimp on back and spread open and stuff on baking sheet. Drizzle with more butter.

    Bake 20 minutes, serve and enjoy.
