Easy way to make hot dogs that isn't quite so messy.

Ingredients For baked hot dogs

  • 1 pkg
    hot dogs
  • 1 pkg
    hot dog buns
  • catsup
  • mustard
  • 1/2
    large onion, chopped
  • 8 slice
    thick velveeta slices
  • 8
    sheets of aluminum foil

How To Make baked hot dogs

  • 1
    Tear sheets of aluminum foil and set aside. Chop onion. Slice cheese. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Place each hot dog inside a bun, squeeze mustard and catsup along the sides of each hot dog. Cut each slice cheese in half; then place it on top of each hot dog. Top each hot dog with chopped onion.

    Place each hot dog on a sheet of foil, fold foil around hot dog and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, remove from oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
