Ingredients For bacon and cabbage bake

    small head of green cabbage
  • 1
    can chicken broth
  • 1 lb
    thick sliced bacon
  • 1 md
    onion, sliced

How To Make bacon and cabbage bake

    Sliced cabbage and put in 13x9 baking dish.

    Cut bacon into bite size pieces and cook in a frying pan until bacon is limp and bacon fat is rendered. DO NOT Crisp the bacon. Cook onion with bacon, until onion is soft.

    Pour all bacon, onions and bacon fat over the cabbage. Add one can of Chicken Broth over cabbage. Cover with Aluminum foil and cook for 60 minutes. When done let sit for 15 minutes before serving.
