Ingredients For taco lasagna

  • 3 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 pkg
    taco seasning mix
  • 4 clove
    garlic..pressed
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornmeal
  • 2 pkg
    corn tortillas
  • 1 jar
    salsa
  • 1 c
    sliced green onions
  • 16 oz
    sour cream mixed with 1 tblsp chili powder
  • 3 c
    shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 3 c
    shredded chedder cheese

How To Make taco lasagna

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees..cook beef until brown..drain well...add taco seasoning..garlic..cayenne pepper and water..

    Simmer uncovered for 10 min...set aside Sprinkle cornmeal on bottom of 9x13 pan....Place tortillas on bottom of pan overlapping and extend up the edges slightly..

    Layer in the following order:....1 cup salsa..1/2 meat mixture (about 2 cups)..1/2 cups green onions...1 cup sour cream mixture....2 cups combined cheeses...Repeat

    Place 6 tortillas and remaining salsa on top....Bake for 40 min...Remove and sprinkle with remaining cheese...Bake an additional 10 min or until melted
