Ingredients For taco bake

2 1/2 lb

ground beef or turkey
8 oz

picante sauce
2 pkg

taco seasoning mix
1/2 Tbsp

brown sugar
12 oz

mexican blend shredded cheese
16 oz

taco sauce
1 pkg

flour tortillas, fat free
8 oz

sour cream, fat-free
2 c

shredded lettuce
1/2 c

cheese sauce
2 md

tomatoes diced

How To Make taco bake

brown meat. drain fat from the meat and add brown sugar, taco seasoning mix and picante sauce last. once all ingredients are added layer an ungreased baking dish with flour tortilla shells,

place first layer and spread meat, then add taco sauce, shredded cheese. add one more layer and top it off with cheese sauce.

bake in the oven until golden and cheese sauce has melted over.

if you choose you can add sour cream, diced tomatoes, more shredded cheese and shredded lettuce along with taco sauce or ranch salad dressing.
