Ingredients For tex-mex corn (sallye)

1 pkgfrozen sweet corn (14-16 ounces)

1 Tbspcooking oil

1 lgwhite onion, chopped fine

2 Tbspchili powder
-
2 ctomato juice (or tomato puree)

2 Tbspbutter
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
pinchsalt & pepper to taste

pinchground cumin
-
1 smcan pikled sliced jalapenos, drained
How To Make tex-mex corn (sallye)

1Preheat oven to 350º butter 9x13 baking dish and set aside

2In heavy skillet, saute onion in cooking oil over medium high heat until golden yellow

3In large mixing bowl, combine corn and all other ingredients, including sauteed onions. Mix well

4Transfer mixture to buttered baking dish Bake at 350º for 30-45 minutes
