I LOVE Chimichangas, but dislike frying anything! These are easy and very good!

Ingredients For oven "fried" chimichangas

2/3 cpicante sauce or your favorite salsa

1 tspcumin
-
1/2 tspdried crushed oregano
-
1 1/2 ccooked chicken-chopped
-
1 cshredded cheddar cheese
-
1/4 cchopped green onions (i've used regular before)

68" flour tortillas
-
2 Tbspmargarine melted
-
additional cheese and salsa for topping as well as sour cream or whatever you desire
How To Make oven "fried" chimichangas

1Mix salsa, cumin, oregano, cooked chicken, cheese and onions.

2Place about 1/4 cup of chicken mixture in the middle of each tortilla. Fold opposite sides over filling. Roll up from bottom and place seam side down on a baking sheet.

3Brush with melted margarine

4Bake at 400 for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown. I have also added black beans to the chicken mixture. Serve with salsa, cheese, sour cream, guacamole....whatever you like!
