This is one of those very filling casserole dishes that has become a favorite of ours.It's perfect for a potluck or just for supper!

Ingredients For mexican mix-up

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 c
    chopped onions
  • 1/2 c
    chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2 c
    beef gravy
  • 2 c
    kidney beans, drained
  • 2 c
    cooked macaroni
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 c
    shredded chedder cheese or mexican blend

How To Make mexican mix-up

    In a skillet, brown the beef and cook the onion and green pepper with the chili powder and garlic until the vegetables are tender.

    Add the gravy,beans,macaroni,salt and pepper. Pour the mixture into a 13x9 baking dish and top it with the cheese bake it at 350 for 30 minutes or the cheese is golden brown.
