Ingredients For mexican cornbread

  • 4 pkg
    martha white yellow cornbread mix
  • 8 oz
    grated cheese
  • 1/2 c
    diced sweet onion
  • 4 slice
    pickled jalepenos cut up
  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground hamburger meat
  • 1 can
    creamy style corn (add 1 tb sugar)

How To Make mexican cornbread

  • 1
    Prepare cornbread according to directions on pkg set aside
  • 2
    brown hamburger and drain set aside
  • 3
    pour half of cornbread in skillet then top with cheese, canned creamy corn(add a litle sugar to this), onions, diced jalepenos,lastly layer the hamburger meat then top with remaining cornbread
  • 4
    Bake 450 degrees 45 or until a knive inserted in center comes out pretty clean
